The performance of electric freight vehicles – what did we observe?

The first FREVUE webinar was held on Friday 17 March 2017 on the theme of the technical assessment of electric vehicles for urban freight operations. SINTEF, the FREVUE partner in charge of a dedicated study presented the main results of its work. The study shows that the current generation of electric vehicles delivers good enough performance for daily operation in urban areas. Of course, their performance depend on the type of vehicles (size), the type of activity, the environment in which it operates and the type of charging (overnight, opportunity charging, etc.).

The presentations of the FREVUE partners Breytner Transport (Rotterdam) and EMEL (Lisbon) confirm the results of the study.
