EMEL, the Lisbon’s Municipal Mobility and Parking Company (leading FREVUE partner in Lisbon), renewed its operational fleet with 17 electric scooters Silence S02 Model by Scutum. The ceremony was attended by the chairman of EMEL Board of Directors, Luis Natal Marques and the other members of the EMEL Board of Directors.
The acquisition reflects the renewal policy of EMEL operational fleet, encouraged by the Portuguese Program for Electric Mobility, which favours eco-responsible and more sustainable mobility solutions. With the purchase of 17 electric scooters Silence, EMEL remains at the forefront of the promotion of environmentally friendly vehicles and applies fullt the principle of sustainable mobility in Lisbon.
These electric scooters will be used daily to support the parking enforcement activities in Lisbon. With agile handling and a range of 100 kilometres, electric scooter are designed to facilitate the daily work in the cities efficiently with a minimum cost of consumption, saving more than 500 euros per 10.000 km.
